I love my mornings. I’ve always loved mornings, but I got in the habit of staying up too late and consequently sleeping in too late the next morning during the last semester. Now that I wake up pretty early for work Monday through Friday, I wake up before 7am on the weekends too. It feels so good to wake up that early without an alarm, especially now that it’s getting hot outside. I get my morning runs done when the weather is perfect and the streets are quiet.
After my run, I re-fueled with a green smoothie, then got to work baking. I swear my granola addiction is getting ridiculous. I can’t believe how easy granola is to make though! It’s wonderful.
- Monday: REST DAY
- Tuesday: 25 minute run in the morning
- Wednesday: 50 minute run in the evening (I like having the long break between runs when I switch up running before work or after; my body feels more rested!)
- Thursday: REST DAY
- Friday: 50 minute run
- Saturday: 30 minute run
- Sunday: 30 minute run followed by a couple circuits from Jillian Michaels’s BFBM
